Where I want to go on our Second Honeymoon...

So the most surprising place we visited was Dubrovnik Croatia. We knew very little about this country, upon our arrival. We didn't know what to expect, so we all had no way to be prepared for just how beautiful this little county is. This is the view upon our entry to the country. Nice start.... We drove up a winding mountain road along the coast line, and found some of the bluest waters we had ever seen. The hillsides were covered with houses and buildings. We took a little pit stop for a photo op. Yes, the water really was that blue... hard to even believe! And yes, the sky was that blue too.... it was unbelievable! We stopped a little vineyard for lunch and wine. It was such a quaint little place. They gave us a little tour. I think it was also an olive grove too. Typical lunch each day was Prosciutto (which I loved), cheese, bread, olives, figs and wine. Mom and Dad under an olive tree. Tyler called the olives "Balls" so he kept trying to get them and throw them. My t...

Weekend Breakfast Goodness

Pardon the interruption from our Italy pictures and stories... but this morning we tried a new recipe and it is a new favorite of mine, that I had to share. Nothing like waking your family up to the smells of something warm baking in the oven and hot coffee! So I found this recipe a while back and finally decided to make it... and boy was it as good as I hoped for. This super easy recipe, tastes so yummy with a cup of coffee... warm butter crescent rolls, soft blueberries, and sweet cream cheese... ah! What a great way to spend your Saturday morning! Blueberry Cheese Rolls 1 pkg. (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese , softened 2 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 cup blueberries , divided PREHEAT oven to 375ºF. Unroll dough in...

Ahh Venice...

So, our next stop was Venice Italy, not Croatia! I mixed up the days. Venice was one of our favorite stops on the this journey. Although we were still pretty tired during the day, as we floated into the city, we were taken in by the beauty it holds. This is the view from our room as we entered the city on the water. Over looking the city... This city is filled with boats! I have never seen anything like it! A kiss to remember... I love this man... So the first night in Venice, my wonderful parents sent Jordan and I out on a date night and watched Tyler for us! We went on an evening gondola ride, had a champagne dinner, and walked all around St. Marks Square... On our gondola ride, we noticed traffic lights on the sides of the buildings.... and it suddenly hit me that the water ways were their roads, and without these lights, there must have been many an accident here and there. There is a legend that if while on a gondola ride, you kiss under every bridge, your love will last foreve...
