.Happy Birthday.

Most of the world celebrates the end of one year and the beginning of the next today... remembering all the things that have happened and the things to come... We do that too, but it carries with it a little more sentimentality these past few years. For the past 3 New Years Eve's- we have also rejoiced in the gift of our little boy. He was born just an 1 hour and 8 minutes shy of the year 2006.... and we could not be more grateful to God for him. My sweetie pie boy has had a big year this year, getting potty trained, going to the beach, making tons of memories, learning to have manners and becoming a little gentleman. He runs to open the door for me most places we go, and is pretty consistent at saying please and thank you, and he tries to "serve me" all day by doing things around the house for me and announcing that he is my "big special helper." However, as wonderful as those things are, the most wonderful things we have seen develop in Tyler this past year a

.Just us.

I was looking back through the pages of this blog, and realized how many posts I have done with pictures of people I have taken, and not just our family! So I started another blog , just for those pictures... so that I could keep this blog JUST ABOUT US! Hopefully, that means I will be more faithful to blog on this one! If you are interested , you can check it out HERE ! I hope to keep this blog updated more, as there certainly is no shortage of things to post about!

Brooklyn Joy Boisvert 7 lbs 9 oz 20 1/2 inches 6:30 pm (i think!) So happy to introduce to you to the newest member of our playgroup, friendship, and lives! My dear friend Rakel had a dream labor and delivery and we are so excited to get to know this little girl! I only got a handful of shots... everyone was trying to get their phones and cameras in, so I kinda felt like the paparazzi!!! But here she is!

This post is a little late in coming!!! Jack turned 1 on Sunday! I still cannot believe a year has past since little boy was born! The year has flown by and he has changed so much. He has brought me so much joy, and every day, I so look forward to seeing his happy face first thing in the morning! He has been such a blessing to our family, and God has been so lavish in his kindness in giving us such a sweet snuggly, happy boy. And, as I had hoped, he and Tyler are becoming buddies and I know they will one day be best friends! Just the other night, I was training Jack to not throw his food, and he had begun to cry, when Tyler (who had been watching the interaction) began to be silly, trying to make Jack laugh.... and a moment later, Jack was cracking up and Tyler was beaming with his success~ that just made me so happy! Here are a whole bunch of pictures of my little one from the past year.. working backwards to his very first day in this world! Birthday celebration pictures coming!
