For your entertainment

Last night at dinner, Tyler was just being silly... so I grabbed the camera and just let him be himself... fake laughs and funny faces included! They aren't the funniest, but they give a little insight into why we love to laugh with our boy! Enjoy! In case you were wondering what I was saying to Tyler in the second one... well, every time I said applesauce, he would just start to laugh... simple pleasures I guess!

My little Funny Face

So, I just started taking some fun pictures of my big boy the past few days... and he has got some pretty expressive looks he likes to make... here are a few of my favorites for your viewing pleasure. Still no teeth on the top yet... any time now though... I hope! Just look at those pearly whites! This last one is one of my mom's favorites... we call it is monkey face, or his " O's "...

Snow!!!

Well, as winter finally made it's delayed appearance... Tyler was very curious about what all the white stuff was falling outside... He kept going to the windows and staring it.... So I knew it was time for an outing... Jordan came home just as we were about to watch the snow fall from our front steps, so I was able to catch some photos! A little family moment! He loved it! He kept trying to grab it as it fell. Jordan had a lot of fun showing him the snow... it is just amazing all the firsts we get to teach and introduce our children to. What a gift from God.

It has been a while...

It has been a while since I have up-loaded pictures on the computer, and thus have not had fun things to show you... Recently, our friends, Steve and Hemi celebrated their little girl's 100 days... it is a Korean tradition, that we were honored to take part in. While there, a friend had his awesome camera at work, and captured some great shots for us... Our little family.. The boy and his daddy... I love this little guy, and the big guy is pretty wonderful too... More to come... these are just to wet your appetite for the multitude of photos to come this weekend and next week! Updates: Tyler is JUST beginning to walk!!! He has taken 3 steps at this point... photos coming soon!

12- Month Check-up

Tyler had his 12 month check-up last week... and believe it or not, he is not as big as you might think! He weighed 21 lb (25%) He measured 29.25 inches (25%) And his head measured 18.25 inched (50%) In other breaking news... his bottom two teeth FINALLY broke through! He got these pearly whites December 15!! (sorry to be so late in that update!) Now we are just waiting for the other teeth to follow suit, so that when he smiles like this, we see something! The other day, I brought Tyler down from his nap and Sesame Street was on... so I let him watch for a little bit while I did something in the kitchen. I peaked around the corner to find him resting his little head on his blankie on the coffee table. It was juts so cute. Another adorable sight is watching Jordan play with Tyler... One of my favorite parts of the day is when Jordan comes home from work and spends the next hour with our son and me. He reads to him, tackles him, and just has a great time. I know Tyler loves this time. to

Tyler's Birthday Party and other fun things...

My boy is 1!!! I can still hardly believe it! Yet here we are, life is moving on, and he is the cutest boy I know! So this is his new face... he does this all the time now. He just scrunches up his little face and we all coo and laugh... a regular stand up comedian... We had a birthday party for Tyler on December 30... just a few friends and our family, which all ended up filling our living room!! Tyler did great with everyone being there. He opened some great presents (thank you so much everyone!) with the help of me and Kenzie . My sister- so faithful to her alma mater- always gets Tyler something from UNC ... this time, it was a teddy bear and two balls for him to play with. Dada was VERY pleased!!! When it came time for Tyler to have his cake... he just kinda stared at it... he wasn't very interested in making a mess or blowing out the candle or even touching it this year!!! We even had help to get him excited about his cake!! All the kids helped him blow out his candle, and
