This post is a little late in coming!!! Jack turned 1 on Sunday! I still cannot believe a year has past since little boy was born! The year has flown by and he has changed so much. He has brought me so much joy, and every day, I so look forward to seeing his happy face first thing in the morning! He has been such a blessing to our family, and God has been so lavish in his kindness in giving us such a sweet snuggly, happy boy. And, as I had hoped, he and Tyler are becoming buddies and I know they will one day be best friends! Just the other night, I was training Jack to not throw his food, and he had begun to cry, when Tyler (who had been watching the interaction) began to be silly, trying to make Jack laugh.... and a moment later, Jack was cracking up and Tyler was beaming with his success~ that just made me so happy! Here are a whole bunch of pictures of my little one from the past year.. working backwards to his very first day in this world! Birthday celebration pictures coming!

-my littles-

I have been fighting the flu since Monday night, and have sadly been in a vegetative state most of that time... we have watched a LOT of movies this week! But I did manage to sit in front of the computer a little here and there, and finally got to some pictures of Jack and Tyler that I love! Here are my littles and some sweet things they have done/said: Tyler: "Mommy, when I get big I be a giant like you?" " I so sad.... I miss daddy.. I love him so much... that make me so sad..." " Momma, you sad? Don't be sad, BE Happy, cause dat makes Jesus happy too." Jack: He has been doing this "lunging" tackle towards me, when he is crawling and just lays on me and coos. I love his sweet snuggle ways! Hard to believe he will be 1 in just a little over a week!!

.little.

I had the privilege to take some photos of a sweet little boy this past Saturday. I wanted to share a little about him, so that if you have the time, you could say a little prayer for him on Tuesday. Little Eli was born when his mommy was just 26 weeks pregnant. He is having surgery tomorrow, to repair some of his intestines, and hopefully, when he has recovered, will be able to go home! His mom has been spending every day at the hospital for the past 10 weeks! She and her husband are walking this tough time out with obvious peace and faith! I respect them so much for their example. Little Eli was almost 5 lbs when I saw him on Saturday. He was big, compared to the 1 lb 15 oz he was born at! So tiny, and so precious. Here are just a few of the pictures I got! Please lift him and his family up today!
