Welcome

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our family blog. This may be your first visit here, or you may be a friend from across the globe, or family that we have just seen. Who ever you may be, thanks for taking the time to read about our little family, and all we are learning on this adventure the Lord has called us to live! Here you will find, the random thoughts, funny stories, prayer requests, and the journey our family and Jack is on with his battle with Leukemia.

.Us.

A week ago, we asked my sister-in-law, the very talented Megan Russell, at the very last minute, if she could come over and take a few pictures of our little family. With the third phase of Jack's treatment, we are seeing more and more hair come out each day, and I just wanted to have some good pictures of all of us together before it all came out. She was so willing to come, and took some amazing photos. Here is a slide show she made for us of the pictures she took.

Oh, TK, I finally took a moment to play this slide show... You are such a beautiful mommy! I love all those slobbery (and not so slobbery) kisses. Your love for your family is so evident and it just just can't be contained in these photos. I thank you for sharing with us all these glimpses of a mother's love. Your example over the years of loving your family, and in particular of loving being a mommy, has given me faith for the season I am now in. You provoke me, my friend, and you help me see the loving hand of God. I love learning from you and seeing God's grace at work in your life. So grateful for your friendship!

I am sitting here at my computer literally sobbing ... oh you guys, it is going to be very hard to say goodbye to you all when we have to go back home to MN. I can't put into words how deeply affected I have been by your lives, the breathtaking display of faith and trust in our Savior that you have shown through trial and suffering ... No words can articulate my thanks to Jesus for each of you and for his kindness in letting us have this year together. I love you so much! Hil
