The Night Watches

So today was a big day for us! We found two new things that are very exciting! The first, is that Tyler now has 7 teeth! How he went from 4 to 7 is quite amazing! Two more of his top teeth have finally broken through, but upon a little inquiry, I found one of his back molars has broken through! Crazy! His teeth certainly have not been coming in the "normal" order! The second is a park, that I am sure most moms in Montgomery County already know about... but we discovered it today! South Germantown Recreational Park ! Located on over 700 acres of land, this park has much to offer! We met our friends the Sohn's there, and they took pictures, I forgot my camera... so I stole some from the website. This park has the coolest activity center things to play on, lots of shady spots to sit and picnic, little kid friendly, and big kid friendly... and it is open sunrise to sunset! We didn't go into the Splash Park, but certainly plan on making a trip there soon. It looks like it ...

So, on Friday, we went Strawberry picking with Megan and her kids. It was a perfect day for it. The weather was cool and breezy, the sun was hiding behind some clouds... couldn't have asked for a better day to pick berries! So we headed to Woodbine MD to Larriland Farm, a short 10 minutes from us, and began the adventure. All photos below were taken by Megan using her awesome camera! She captured the messy and wonderful time we had! Look at all those berries! We didn't do too bad eh?? Watching the animals... aren't they all so cute! There wasn't much room to walk around each other, so we pretty much squashed all the berries we didn't end up picking first! Little pudgy face, sticky cheeks, and beatiful lashes... Notice the juice all over his face and shirt! This was the theme of our time. I would pick them, and Tyler would eat them... every time I put one into my basket, he would take it out and eat it. I had to hide it from him at one point! Good times... Blueberri...

Just had my 15 week appointment. And everything was great. Baby had a strong heart beat and I only gained 2.5 lbs so far in the whole pregnancy. Which is crazy, since I feel like I look heavier. Even with all the junk we ate at the beach, I didn't put on much weight. I think having another child to chase after keeps the metabolism up! I am sure that the weight gain will change over the coming weeks! I am waiting for the check-up when I step on the scale and I have gained 10 lbs! Coming up next, the 20 week sonogram, July 16, right after we get back from Italy! So what do you think we are having?? Let's take a vote....!!!!!

I have been getting some emails from friends, telling me it is time to post! I am so sorry for being so tardy in posting, but we have been busy! Quick Belly Update- we are at 15.5 weeks now... and I believe I have felt the baby move a few times. That is one of my most favorite things about being pregnant! I felt Tyler moving around at 16 weeks, and they say you can feel the second baby sooner.... I have my monthly OB appointment tomorrow- Probably to get a blood test (yuck) and all the other usual stuff. I will post again after the appointment. This is me at 13 weeks with a little tiny tummy and then... ***POP** It seemed that while we were at NA my belly popped out and I began showing... This is the belly at 15 weeks.... NA was great! Jordan and I had a great time together! Serving as a Ninja was fun, but also very tiring. It was great, because we had bags full of free stuff to give away, to whomever we wanted!
